The Seven Levers of Change for Work-Life Effectiveness

Work-life programs’ prevalence at organizations of all sizes and shapes is impressive, yet assessing these efforts’ impact is difficult. At the root of the difficulty is work-life effectiveness requires fundamental changes in culture—a more complex concept than rolling out a new retirement plan. This paper provides a research-based model of seven levers of change for work-life effectiveness combined with a stages-of change model for implementation.
